“An environment that encouraged exploration and challenge in the learning process, in a geographical location that was gently inspirational, among like-minded people. With staff and tutors who were approachable, cheerful and helpful.” – West Dean Student 2025
“The tuition and the patience and care of the tutor” – West Dean Student 2024
“The best thing I found here is that you make sculptures with slab technique, very amazing. Second, the quality of your clay is great, which makes it easy to work with. Your way of teaching and explaining is very good. As you understand the feelings of the student and solve them immediately. Wonderful experience. Thank you very much. I will now be able to teach a new way to the students of the institute (in which I work). Also, I will be able to teach them what work is done on texture and how beautiful things are made.” – West Dean Student 2023
“Energising & informative lessons.” – West Dean Student 2023
“He is such a talented guy. He is also a stunning teacher, I was lucky enough to be one of his course’s this year. If you get a chance to go learn from this lovely creative and friendly soul, You won’t regret it. Mary, West Street Potters Student 2025.
